As I started my new job on Monday, I am just now getting into the swing of things. By “swing” I mean spending today spontaneously bursting into song due to pure happiness to have the day off. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled to be back in the work force, but combining it with show week and my mind being thoroughly unaccustomed to the inability to decide my own hours has left me in a little mushy pile of exhaustion.
There has been a lot going on around town; the Alberta Culture Days, Stand Up for Mental Health and workshops with the new and brilliant theater company Theatre; Just Because. I hope you are all out there soaking up art and ideas and the last of the autumn sun! (Oh man, I’m not ready for winter! *cries inconsolably in sauna*)
We only have two more shows to go – two shows where we will be laughing, arguing, screaming, marching and working our butts off to keep you enthralled, entertained and deeply engaged. Two more opportunities to experience Keyano Theatre’s performance of A Few Good Men! If this is a shameless plug for a show I am incredibly proud of?
YOU’RE GOD DAMN RIGHT IT IS!
