I’ve been looking too closely at things and matters, nose pressed against the ground searching for grains and specks of whatever I could find. I forgot to stand up. I forgot to look around. My grains and specks aren’t hiding among tall grass and slippery rocks, they’re hiding in plain sight. Across an ocean, hurdles and barrels away, but in plain sight. I simply forgot to look.
But now that I see them
– my grains and specks larger than titans, giants and life itself –
I can’t help but to smile.
